Shuriken Challenge
Terms of purchase
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These are the terms for buying the Shuriken Challenge when you get to it from the free guide “50 Hacks to Produce Like a Ninja”. The challenge is in English: the lessons, the materials and the support are all in English. These terms and the contract are in English too.
1. Who is selling to you
The Shuriken Challenge is sold by La Música Que Te Imaginas S.L. (“we” or “us”), a Spanish company:
- Tax ID (NIF): B21977905
- Address: C/ Antonio García Campos, 35, 4º-4, 03202 Elche (Alicante), Spain
- Registered in the Commercial Registry of Alicante (Registro Mercantil de Alicante), section 8, sheet A-197807, entry 1
- Email: hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com
- Phone: +34 622 351 618
For anything about these terms (questions, withdrawal, the guarantee, complaints), email us at that address.
2. What you are buying
The Shuriken Challenge is an online program to produce your first song in 10 days. It includes:
- The challenge: 10 days. Each day has video lessons, a mission and a submission.
- Support in the private WhatsApp group during the 10 days of the challenge (section 8). The support is a service, not digital content, and it has its own withdrawal rules (section 5.2).
- Bonuses: Killer Drums, the Step-by-Step Guide to Producing Your First Song and the West Coast Mood sound pack.
- The Beatmaker's Black Box, only if you buy within your 20-minute window (section 4).
Access to the platform: 365 days from your Day 1. Support: only during the 10 days of the challenge.
The “values” shown next to each part on the sales page are a rough estimate of what each part is worth. They are not prices we charge you.
3. How it works: starting and your 10 days
When your 10 days start. When you start using the content: the day you first open a lesson of the challenge. That is your Day 1, and the platform records it.
- You have up to 7 calendar days from your purchase to start. If you haven't started by then, your 10 days start automatically on the eighth day.
- The 10 days are calendar days, one after the other.
- Each day you get some lessons, a mission with a clear goal and a submission that you upload to the challenge platform.
- Each time you upload a submission, you get a receipt by email with the date and time. You can see your progress (completed lessons and submissions) at any time in your area of the platform.
What you need before you buy
- A computer that can run Ableton Live. The free trial version works. Check the system requirements on Ableton's website before you buy.
- An internet connection.
- 20 to 30 minutes a day for the 10 days.
- You don't need to know music theory or play an instrument.
Your computer and your software are your responsibility
Having a computer and software that work is a requirement for the challenge, and you check it before you buy. So:
- If Ableton crashes, freezes, won't open or won't load, your trial runs out, your computer fails, you lose a project or you lose your connection, your 10 days keep running and are not extended.
- These problems don't give you the right to a refund, except in the withdrawal cases in section 5.
- You can ask for help in the group and we'll do what we can, but we don't give technical support for your computer or for Ableton.
- The challenge is taught with Ableton Live. You can use other software if you want, but the support is about Ableton.
- If you don't use the content, or don't do the challenge, your 10 days, your support and your access run anyway. Not using it doesn't give you the right to a refund, except in the withdrawal cases in section 5 (for example, if you withdraw within the 14 days without having opened any lesson or downloaded anything).
What is our responsibility is the challenge platform: see section 13.
4. Price and payment
All prices are in US dollars, taxes included. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay. Any VAT is worked out by our checkout platform (Systeme.io) and is already inside that price. If your card is in another currency, your bank may charge a currency conversion fee. We don't charge it and we don't control it.
The price depends on when you buy. Each person has their own deadlines. If you come from the free guide “50 Hacks to Produce Like a Ninja”, your deadlines start when you sign up for the guide, and they are:
| When you buy | Price |
|---|
| Within 20 minutes of first reaching the checkout | $47 + The Beatmaker's Black Box |
| After that, until 48 hours after you signed up for the guide | $57 |
| From then on | $97 |
- Your 20-minute window opens only once: the first time you reach the checkout with your email, as long as your 48 hours haven't ended. If you reach the checkout for the first time after they've ended, the price is $97. If your window opens near the end of your 48 hours, it still lasts its full 20 minutes, and when it ends the price goes straight to $97.
- If you already had Shuriken Challenge deadlines (for example, because you had already watched its sales video), they are replaced by the ones in this table the first time you sign up for the guide, even if they had already ended. From then on, only these count.
- Signing up for the guide again doesn't reset anything. Your deadlines are the ones from your first sign-up.
- The deadlines are shown with a countdown and they are real: when they end, the price goes up.
- Once your deadlines have ended, we won't offer you the Shuriken Challenge at a lower price again.
- To apply your deadlines we use your email and, if you accept it in the cookie banner, a cookie (
svsl_vid) and an encrypted summary of your IP address (more in section 16).
- The price you pay is the one you see at checkout at the moment you buy.
- One-time payment by card, Apple Pay or PayPal, through Stripe and PayPal. We don't store your card details.
- The invoice is sent automatically, in digital form, to the email you bought with.
Example: you sign up for the guide on Monday at 10:00 a.m. On Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. you reach the checkout for the first time: until 6:20 p.m. the challenge costs $47 with The Beatmaker's Black Box. From 6:20 p.m. until Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. it costs $57. From Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., $97.
5. Right of withdrawal: you lose it when you access the content
When you buy online, the law normally gives you 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw. That means you can change your mind without giving a reason and get your money back. In the Shuriken Challenge this right works as follows.
5.1 The challenge content: you lose it as soon as you access it
The lessons, the bonuses, The Beatmaker's Black Box and the downloadable material are digital content delivered online. The law allows you to lose the right of withdrawal as soon as delivery starts, if three conditions are met (Article 103(m) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, which applies Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU):
- You ask for immediate access before paying, by ticking the box at checkout yourself. The box is not ticked by default.
- In that same box, you confirm that once you have access, you lose your right of withdrawal.
- We confirm it to you in writing: the purchase confirmation email includes the same sentence you accepted and a copy of these terms.
The box says:
“I want immediate access to the Shuriken Challenge and I understand that, once I have access to this digital content, I lose my right of withdrawal (the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days). I also request that the support starts with my challenge, even if that is within those 14 days.”
- You can't buy without ticking the box. The Shuriken Challenge is only sold with immediate access. If you want to keep your 14 days, don't buy it.
- When you have access: when you first open a lesson of the challenge or download any material (a bonus, The Beatmaker's Black Box or West Coast Mood), whichever comes first. From that moment you can no longer withdraw from the content.
- If you haven't accessed anything yet, you keep the right for 14 days from the purchase: you can withdraw from the whole purchase and we refund everything you paid. Your 10 days starting automatically on the eighth day (section 3) doesn't count as accessing the content, but it does start the support (section 5.2).
- We keep proof that you ticked the box: your email, the date and time, your IP address, your country, your browser, the exact text you accepted and its version, and the checkout page (more in the privacy policy).
- If you don't get the confirmation email, write to us and we'll send it again.
5.2 Support in the group: it's a service
The support during the 10 days is not digital content. It's a service given by people. Different rules apply to it:
- 10% of the price you pay is for the support. The rest is for the content.
- You can withdraw from the support within 14 days from the purchase, even if you have already accessed the content.
- Because you asked in the box for the support to start with your challenge, if you withdraw after it has started you pay for the support we've already given you: one tenth of the support amount for each of your 10 days that has started by the time we receive your withdrawal. We refund the rest of that amount. Example: you paid $57, so the support is $5.70, and you withdraw during your Day 4. You pay for 4 of the 10 support days ($2.28) and we refund the other 6 ($3.42).
- If you withdraw from the support before it starts, we refund the full support amount.
- Withdrawing from the support doesn't take away your access to the content: you keep the lessons and the material. You just leave the group and we stop giving you support.
5.3 How to withdraw
- Press the “Withdraw from the contract here” button, which you'll find in your area of the platform and in the purchase confirmation email, or email us at hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com saying that you withdraw and from what: the whole purchase (if you haven't accessed the content yet) or just the support.
- You can also use the form at the end of these terms, but you don't have to.
- It's enough to send it before the 14 days from your purchase are over.
- We'll send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal by email.
5.4 Refund and what happens when you withdraw
- We refund what's due within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method, at no cost to you.
- If you withdraw from the whole purchase: your access to the challenge, the support and the bonuses is closed.
- If you withdraw only from the support: you leave the group and keep everything else.
5.5 The Shuriken Guarantee still applies
Even if you have lost the right of withdrawal by accessing the content, the Shuriken Guarantee (section 6) still applies: if you meet its conditions and don't finish your song, we refund 100%. You also keep the legal guarantee if the content doesn't work (section 13).
6. Shuriken Guarantee
The Shuriken Guarantee is a voluntary commercial guarantee. It is added to your legal rights (withdrawal in the cases in section 5 and the legal guarantee in section 13) and doesn't reduce them in any way. It applies even if you have already lost the right of withdrawal by accessing the content.
6.1 What we guarantee
If you meet all the conditions in section 6.2 during the 10 days of the challenge and still don't finish your song (section 6.3), we refund 100% of what you paid for the Shuriken Challenge.
6.2 The conditions
All five must be met within the 10 days of the challenge:
- One submission every day. On each of the 10 days you do that day's mission and upload your submission to the challenge platform before 11:59 p.m. your local time that same day. The submission is the proof of work the mission asks for: a screenshot, an audio file or the project, depending on the day. It doesn't have to be perfect: it has to be yours and from that day. The Day 10 submission is your exported song or, if you haven't managed to finish it, your project as it is.
- Each day's lessons, completed on the platform.
- Asking for help when you get stuck. If there's something you can't solve with the lessons, you post it in the group within the 10 days, explaining where you're stuck. When we reply, you confirm in the group that you've applied it or tell us what isn't working. You can't claim a block you didn't tell us about. If our reply reaches you after your Day 10, not applying it doesn't count against you.
- Your own work. Everything you submit is made by you, during the challenge. Work by other people, projects from before the challenge and tracks generated automatically with artificial intelligence don't count.
- Personal use. You don't share your account or the challenge content with anyone else.
6.3 What “finishing your song” means
Your song is finished when you have exported it from your software as an audio file (WAV or MP3), at least 1 minute and 30 seconds long, with a beginning, a middle and an end, and built with what you worked on in the challenge: chords, sounds, drums and melody.
Quality, style or whether you like it don't count. The goal of the challenge is to finish your first song, not to make it sound professional.
6.4 How to claim it
Email us at hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com with the subject “Shuriken Guarantee” within 7 calendar days after your Day 10, and include:
- The email you bought with.
- The name you used to upload your submissions.
- Your 10 submission receipts, or the summary email you get when Day 10 closes.
- Your Ableton project as it was at the end of Day 10, compressed. In Ableton: File → “Collect All and Save”.
6.5 How we check it
- The proof that you met the conditions is your submission receipts and the record of your progress: the same data you have in your email and in your area of the platform.
- We also review your support messages in the group.
- If any data doesn't match what you have, send us your receipts or any other proof and we'll take it into account.
- We reply within 10 calendar days at most.
- If the conditions are met, we refund you within 14 calendar days at most, using the same payment method.
6.6 When it doesn't apply
- If any of the conditions in section 6.2 is missing.
- If you don't finish because of a problem with your computer, your connection or your software (section 3).
- If you claim it after the deadline.
- If you withdrew from the whole purchase (section 5). If you withdrew only from the support, the guarantee doesn't apply, because the support is one of its conditions (section 6.2).
- If you've already used it before: it's once per person.
6.7 What happens if it applies
- We refund 100% of what you paid for the Shuriken Challenge.
- Your access to the challenge, the support and the bonuses is closed, The Beatmaker's Black Box included, and your license to the downloadable material ends (West Coast Mood included).
- The song you made is still yours.
Example. You buy on 1 October and open your first lesson on 3 October. Your 10 days run from 3 to 12 October: each day you upload your submission before 11:59 p.m. your local time. If on 12 October you haven't managed to finish your song, you can claim the guarantee until 19 October. Withdrawal is separate: when you open your first lesson on 3 October, you lose it for the content (section 5.1). For the support, you keep it until 15 October, paying for the support days that have already started (section 5.2).
6.8 Who gives it
La Música Que Te Imaginas S.L., with the details in section 1. It applies to every buyer of the Shuriken Challenge, whatever country they're in.
7. What we don't guarantee
The Shuriken Challenge is a training program to finish your first song.
- We don't guarantee specific results, income or being able to make a living from music, or that you'll produce at a professional level.
- The result depends on your commitment and your practice. We give you the process, the content and the support to finish your first song.
- The testimonials and figures on the sales page (such as the number of students or the fastest finishes) are real experiences of specific students. They are not a typical or guaranteed result.
- The Beatmaker's Black Box and other content talk about possible professional paths. They are training, not a promise of income.
8. Support
- Support is given in English, in the private WhatsApp group, during the 10 days of the challenge. We don't give support by private message, email or any other channel, except in the case in the last point of this list.
- We reply within 48 working hours at most (Monday to Friday, not counting Spanish national public holidays).
- It's given by the teaching team or designated collaborators, supervised by La Música Que Te Imaginas S.L.
- First try to solve it with the lessons. If you're still stuck, write.
- Support is about the challenge content. It doesn't include private lessons or reviews of other projects.
- Joining the group is voluntary: you join yourself with the link we send you. When you join, your name and phone number will be visible to the other participants and to our team.
- If you don't want your number to be visible, email us at hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com before joining and we'll give you support by email during your 10 days, with the same reply time.
9. Behavior in the group
You agree to behave respectfully in the group and in any other community space.
- Minor issue: we'll send you a written warning and you'll have 48 hours to explain yourself.
- If the behavior continues, or if it's serious (harassment, insults, sharing the challenge content), we can suspend or remove your access without a refund, without affecting any withdrawal rights you still have under section 5.
10. Intellectual property and use of the content
- All the challenge content (videos, audio, documents, templates, exercises, packs and downloadable material) belongs to La Música Que Te Imaginas S.L.
- You get a personal, limited and non-transferable license while your access lasts. You may not copy, share, transfer or sell the content, in whole or in part, by any means, or share your account.
- If we detect unauthorized distribution, we can remove access and take legal action, and claim compensation for the actual damage proven plus the costs of investigating and claiming.
- West Coast Mood: you can use the sounds in your own songs, including if you release or sell them, and this license doesn't expire when your access to the platform ends. You can't redistribute the sounds, on their own or as a pack. The license ends if the Shuriken Guarantee is applied to you (section 6).
- Ableton Live is a product of Ableton AG, which we're not connected with. You need your own license or its trial version.
- Your music is yours. All rights to the songs you make belong to you.
11. Your image and your testimonials
- We'll only use your name, your image or your testimonial if you give us express permission, in a form separate from the purchase.
- You can withdraw that permission whenever you want by emailing hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com. What's already published stays, but we stop any new use from the moment you ask.
- Without that permission, we won't use anything that identifies you.
12. Changes to the program
- We can make reasonable adjustments to the content or the schedule for justified reasons (improving the challenge, software updates, replacing someone who isn't available, or force majeure), always keeping equal or higher training value and at no cost to you.
- We'll let you know by email at least 7 calendar days in advance, or as early as possible if the reason is urgent.
- If the change harms you substantially, you can end the contract within 30 days of our notice and ask for a proportional refund, or a switch to another program.
13. If something doesn't work (legal guarantee)
You have the legal guarantee rights that the law gives for digital content and services. If the content doesn't reach you or doesn't work as described, write to us: we'll fix it and, if that's not possible, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.
If the challenge platform fails on our side and you can't access the lessons, tell us in the group or by email: we'll fix it and add to your 10 days the days you couldn't access it. This doesn't cover problems with your computer, your connection or your software (section 3).
14. Liability
- We're not responsible for technical failures by third parties (your computer, your connection, Ableton Live…) or for a student not getting results.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid, except in cases of fraud or gross negligence and in anything the law doesn't allow us to limit.
- Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer.
15. Age
- You must be 18 or over to buy.
- If the person doing the challenge is under 18, the purchase must be made by their parent or legal guardian. By buying, the parent or guardian consents to their participation, including in the WhatsApp group, where there are adults, and takes responsibility for supervising it.
16. Your data
We handle your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and the Spanish data protection law (Organic Law 3/2018, “LOPDGDD”).
- Controller: La Música Que Te Imaginas S.L. · hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com
- What for: to manage your purchase, your access, the support and the guarantee, and to apply your price deadlines from section 4.
- Why we're allowed to: because it's necessary to perform the purchase contract. The price deadlines start before you buy, when you sign up for the guide: at that point the basis is applying the terms you yourself ask for before entering into the contract.
- Price deadlines: we use an encrypted summary (hash) of your email and, if you accept it in the cookie banner, a cookie (
svsl_vid) and an encrypted summary of your IP address, never the IP address itself. We keep them only to apply your deadlines, for 120 days from your last visit (the IP summary, 7 days). If you buy, we record your email, the amount and which deadline you bought in, and keep it for 400 days.
- Proof of the box in section 5.1: we keep your email, the date and time, your IP, your country, your browser, the text you accepted and the checkout page. If you buy, for 6 years; if you tick the box but don't complete the payment, for 30 days.
- Support on WhatsApp: the group runs on WhatsApp, a Meta service that may process data outside the European Union. Your number will be visible to the other participants (section 8).
- Marketing emails: we may send you emails about our own products similar to the one you bought. If you don't want them, email us at hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com (also before buying) or unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
- How long: while your access lasts and, after that, for the periods required by law.
- Your rights: access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability, by emailing hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Everything else is in our privacy policy and our cookie policy.
17. Communications
Any communication between you and us is valid if it's made by email to the addresses given in the purchase. We can use sending and server records as proof, and you can provide any other proof you have.
18. Changes to these terms
We can change these terms, but changes only affect future purchases. Your purchase is governed by the version that was published on the day you bought.
19. Acceptance
- You accept these terms when you press “Buy now”. The link to read them first is right next to the button.
- Before you can pay, you tick the immediate access box in section 5.1. We keep proof that you ticked it (what data and for how long, in the privacy policy).
- In the purchase confirmation email we send you the sentence you accepted and a copy of these terms, so you have them saved.
20. Applicable law and complaints
- These terms are governed by Spanish law, without affecting the consumer protection rules of your country of residence that can't be excluded.
- If you buy as a consumer, you can choose between the courts of your place of residence and the courts of Elche (Alicante), Spain. If you buy as a professional or a business, both parties submit to the courts of Elche (Alicante).
- You can send us any complaint at hola@lamusicaqueteimaginas.com. We reply within 15 days at most from receiving it.
- Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available to you: ask for them by email.
- We don't take part in any alternative dispute resolution scheme.
Withdrawal form
You only need to fill it in and send it if you want to withdraw in the cases in section 5. The “Withdraw from the contract here” button or any email that says so clearly also works.
